CGS Premier Facilities Coordinator

Location: Muskego, WI

 
Roles & Responsibilities

 

The Facilities Coordinator position reports to the Plant Manager, and is responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and functioning properly.  The Facilities Coordinator is also responsible for supporting the logistics of the production functions of the company through movements of trailers and vehicles in the lot and in the building.  This also includes ensuring that all equipment is in safe working condition, and that materials inventories are maintained.    
This is accomplished by doing the following:

  • Work with Receiving to ensure inventoried project materials are properly stored.
  • Assist Plant Manager in managing proper project workflow and layout with available shop space through movements of vehicles and equipment.
  • Assist the Print Dept. in allocating and coordinating space for graphic installation and removal processes.
  • Coordinate with Shipping and Receiving staff to ensure inbound materials end up where they belong, and assist with proper packaging of outgoing deliveries
  • Work with Sales and Client Services to coordinate inbound and outbound client owned assets/materials.
  • Work with Plant Manager to ensure machinery and equipment is in good order as needed.
  • Act as a backup to Shipping and Receiving to inspect incoming and outgoing vehicles.Fill out inspection sheets and file for record keeping purposes.
  • Assist in the set-up and strike of current CGS or EVL owned assets for display or demonstration purposes.
  • Coordinate annual sprinkler system maintenance
  • Coordinate HVAC maintenance and perform filter changes
  • Coordinate all scrap material runs and handle scrap money funds.
  • Parking lot and grounds maintenance and cleaning
  • Coordinate snow removal, keeping doorways clear of ice, snow and debris
  • Scheduling dumpsters
  • Support cleaning staff and cleaning supply inventory
  • Coordinate window washing, carpet cleaning, and all other contracted facilities vendors
  • Manage the set up and storage of outdoor furniture and décor
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Facilities Management (custom fabrication preferred
  • Business Management training preferred, but not necessarily required.AS or BA in any technical field a plus.

Project Manager

Location: Muskego, WI

 

The main duties of the Production Manager Position for CGS Premier are to effectively organize, plan, implement and control production to ensure accurate and timely completion of custom built projects.  Maintaining the scope of work, attention to detail, budget, and timeline will be paramount to a successful project outcome.  This position requires all of the below tasks spread over several projects at the same time.

Role of Project manager-defined

  • Reports to Plant Manager
  • Takes ownership of a project from start to finish, responsible for the scheduling of materials, labor hours and overall Quality Control of Project
  • Responsible for ensuring that the Project follows established building processes of CGS
  • Posts a daily/weekly work list and anticipates material and labor hours required in conjunction with the Plant Manager
  • Meets with his Crew and Assistant Project Manager at the beginning of each work day to update on progress against schedule, changes to scope, and assignments of work
  • Plans the time required for the execution of each of the individual tasks required for the completion of the Project
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment on and around the Project
  • Works with ISO Manager to establish and follow ISO procedure documentation

Supervision of crew

  • Meet with crew to start each shift
  • Use Assistant Project Manager to assist crew, and keep on task
  • Monitor progress throughout the day, enforce Crew is punched in on the correct job
  • Team motivation

Project upfront planning priorities

  • Establish project timeline, incorporating the timeline Client Services shared with Client/Sales
  • Materials lists created and placed on order within first few days of assignment
  • Specialty hardware, long lead time items identified in pre-pro meeting

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a production environment (custom fabrication preferred).
